MUSIC INDUSTRY PEOPLE - AUSTRALIA


Barry Bull is a key personality and businessman in the Australian music industry and in particular in the Australian music retail landscape, most notably as a prominent Brisbane music retailer, music association founder, author, public speaker and musician.

As a retailer Barry Bull was the owner operator of Toombul Music in the Westfield Shopping centre at Toombul, a suburb of Brisbane in Queensland. He is especially notable as one of the main founders of the Australian Music Retailers Association and a key spokesperson for music retailers in Australia. During his time as a music retailer, Barry also had a stint as the first state manager of ARC Records in Queensland in 1969 (which later became CBS Records).

His book' A Little Bull Goes A Long Way' is a auto biographical journey of his life as a prominent music retailer and music industry participant / networker in the Australian Music Industry.
