Martin Blackmore (now rewired….actually retired but thats a horrible word) is a New Zealand born and Australian based former retail music industry executive, current musician and music blogger. He was the former General Manager of Brashs Recorded Music and RMA Merchandising in the 1980's and early 1990's and after that, was also a successful businessman in a number of non-music industry related businesses in Australian and New Zealand.

Prior to joining Brashs, Blackmore was a music retailer in New Zealand for 8 years during the 70’s and the Sting Music Company in Flinders Lane in the early 1980's.

In the late 2000's / early 2010's he established and administered the music website 'The Roots Of Rock'.

He is currently one of the co-founders and co-administrators of 'ARMIC - Australian Recorded Music Industry Collective' and the lead singer / harmonica player of Melbourne Blues band 'Drivin Wheel'.
